We work as a team with various specialities of our hospital including surgical specialities, emergency department and intensive care units and serve as the backbone of our hospital.

✔  Anaesthesiologists in the department are involved at every stage of the surgical journey – from pre-anaesthetic evaluation and optimisation, to intra-operative anaesthetic management, and post-operative pain relief and critical care. The department also actively supports emergency and trauma services, labour analgesia, intensive care and resuscitation services round the clock, in alignment with the standards of leading anaesthesiology departments in India.

✔  In addition to clinical services, the department is committed to teaching and training MBBS undergraduates and postgraduate MD (Anaesthesiology) residents(under DRP), contributing to the vision of GMC Ariyalur as a centre of excellence in medical education and service.
